60" peavey
Pros: Strong well built, easy to attach to stand, moves large and small logs with ease
Cons: None
I found this web site and saw the company was in my home state of Connecticut. I liked the idea of buying a product made in America and especially in Connecticut. I'm a 56 year old male homeowner and I burn wood throughout the late Fall to late winter / early spring season. I get large logs delivered to my yard then I cut and split the wood myself. I'm going to comment on my entire experience with Logrite, from ordering, delivery and the product itself. First, ordering. It was very simple and straight forward. I called the company directly and placed the order. The woman I spoke with was "down to earth" and very knowledgeable. Second, shipping. Considering how heavy this tool is, the shipping costs are minimal. It was about $22.00. I would have spent more in gas going and coming back if I picked it up myself. Third, quality. This tool is extremely well made. Everything about is professional grade. The parts that make up this tool are thick and well made. It has that "how things used to be made" feeling. I purchased the 60" model because my philosophy is " I would rather have and not need that need and not have". I should note that I also purchased the stand that attaches to the peavey which is also heavy duty. These two tools have saved me tons of work trying to push around these big logs. The tool moves large, long (or short) logs with ease. The stand works great to lift the log up to finish the cut so the chainsaw's chain doesn't hit the ground. You will not be disappointed. I got the 60" for the extra leverage.

The 6" universal log stand attaches to LogRite's 42", 48" or 60" Cant Hooks or Peaveys.
